After high school, Garth joined the Air Force. He served in Vietnam and was later stationed at Nellis AFB. Following his military service, Garth worked as a roofer and estimator for a Las Vegas-area roofing company and retired in 2017. Garth’s hobbies included golf and fishing. He died on Jan. 14, 2021.
