Donald George Whitney, 92, passed away Feb. 29, 2019 at his home in Logandale, Nevada. He had lived in Logandale since the age of 10. Don was a cowboy, brick mason, construction worker, dairy farm owner and rancher, and he owned one of the last BLM grazing allotments in Clark County. He was also very active in his community, serving on the Muddy Valley Irrigation Board, Moapa Valley Water Board, southern Nevada water concerns and as a volunteer fireman. Additionally, Don was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions of responsibility. (Picture courtesy Moapa Valley Mortuary.)
